Playing Small Moment

Penny’s moment of playing small was after she sold her IT company and got into a much bigger situation to manage, much bigger than she anticipated and she wanted to quit. She under estimated her skills and abilities and was dripping with fear and felt like she was over her head. Her boss made her realize she was focused on the wrong things. He shifted her focus ton what was most important to achieving the success. She was so caught up in her story and that is what was really creating he overwhelm. That shift in perspective made all the difference.

The Wake Up Call

One of Penny’ wake up calls was when she ended up in a big fight with her 3-year-old. She realized she wasn’t giving him the attention and the presence he needed, because she was focused more on her work.

Style of Leadership

Penny has a coaching style of leadership. She comes from a place of curiosity and uses a collaborative way of coaching.
