On Air Coaching: Business on a Budget with Terri DeCoster

This is my first On Air Coaching Call. With me I have Terri DeCoster who is working full-time hours between a couple of gigs but really wants to get her own business off the ground.
Terri DeCoster is a Masters level counselor, certified coach, and family mediator with over 15 years of supporting adults and children going through tough family transitions. Terri has facilitated numerous workshops and groups for adults and children, as well as private coaching. Terri served as a Board member at the Kids First Center in Portland ME, and continue her work as a facilitator. Terri brings passion from her own life experience as a child of divorce and a divorced mom when helping other families navigate the minefield of divorce with health and hope.
Because of where Terri is in her business and what she was requesting of me I found myself doing more consulting than coaching and that’s why you’ll hear me do most of the talking as we get into the call.
Terri and I discussed:

- The pros and cons of hiring college students to build a website or take on other technical work.
- How to find professionals you can trust to help with your financials and admin support.
- Developing branded forms to use in your business.
- Putting together presentations using Canva and PowerPoint.
